Personal Documentaries
The Personal Documentary service provides individuals with the opportunity to detail the various events, experiences and lessons of their life on video (and in writing for an extra fee) without having to go through a major movie production studio. The Personal Documentaries consist of thorough interviews and questioning of the person being interviewed, followed by filming sessions of the individual and certain family and friends, as well as visits to significant locations in the featured individuals life.
The personal documentaries serve as digital time capsules for an individual. This project allows a person to have a record of their life to pass down from generation to generation.
The purpose of this service is to provide individuals with means to organize the aspects of a person’s life while they are still living, and digitally share the full extent of a person’s life with everyone they want to share it with. So often people, particularly senior citizens go through life without ever organizing and seriously evaluating all of the events and experiences that have happened to them. Today’s technology, coupled with Nathan Porter’s creative eye, makes it very possible to create a compelling media package that can last generations.
